Why one step is enough to start
Most routines fail because they ask for too much
Six products, a particular order, a rule about which nights you use what. It works for a fortnight, then a busy week arrives and the whole thing quietly stops.
A single daily step does not have that problem. It sets a baseline, and it keeps going on the days when you have no attention to spare — which are most of them.
Consistency does more than complexity.
Once one step is automatic, adding a second feels manageable rather than like starting over.
